Top 10 Looks from the 2024 Met Gala

Top 10 Looks from the 2024 Met Gala

The KIRK + CO Team Presents Our Top Looks from the 2024 Met Gala

This year themed, "The Garden of Time", inspired by the Met's newest showcase, "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion", saw global celebrities interpreting the theme with a sense of dark romanticism, subversive florals and avant-garde dressing.

Nichole Kidman dazzled in a custom Balenciaga gown, which was inspired by the 1950's Cristóbal Balenciaga Couture fashion. Kidman describes her extravagant, yet timeless outfit as a "sleeping beauty brought back to life."

Spotted in a custom Victoria Beckham gown, Phoebe Dynevor made a notable entrance in semi transparent faded rose-coloured tulle and lace with hundreds of hand-cut and hand-sewn flowers. The Theme "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," truely encapsulates this through the use of vintage lace from Beckham's archives, representing a revival of past beauty.

Tyla made a dramatic entrance in a unique Balmain gown crafted from sand and custom made by Oliver Rousteing. The Dress was inspired by the "Sands of Time," fitting perfectly with the events theme, "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion."

Sarah Jessica Parker made a striking appearance in her sculptural gown by Richard Quinn. Parker's outfit featured a structured corset dress with bejeweled floral lace, a cinched waist and a Philip Treacy headpiece.

Gigi Hadid took the crowed by storm with an incredible gown created by Thom Browne, featuring a white off-the-shoulder corset bodice adorned with yellow rose motifs and black piping.

Mindy Kaling wore a sculptural gown by Gaurav Gupta, which showcases a nude-coloured strapless dress featuring intricate arcs and loops flowing from her shoulders to her back, creating a visually stunning effect.

Zendaya's first look was a dramatic blue Maison Margiela Artisanal gown by John Galliano, which featured intricate details such as black, blue and green tulle, with hyperrealistic grape embellishment on the hip.

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky attended the 2024 Meta Gala for the first time together. Hemsworth wore a custom cream wool three-piece suit by Tom Ford. Pataky matched Hemsworth perfectly with gold long-sleeved viscose turtleneck dress.

Kendall Jenner wore an elegant, never-before-worn archival Givenchy dress from the fall of 1999 couture collection and was designed by the late Alexander McQueen.

Zendaya's second gown was from Givenchy's spring/summer 1996 couture collection and finishing off the look with a headpiece designed by Alexander McQueen from the spring/summer 2007 collection.
